Heute ist es endlich soweit, ich release den FIFA 08 Mega Patch in der Version 1.0 nach langer und mühsamer Arbeit.

Genauere Informationen zu diesem Patch könnt Ihr den nachfolgenden Beiträgen entnehmen. Und ich bitte jeden User diese Beiträge ausführlich und genau zulesen, um mögliche Probleme und ähnliches zu vermeiden.

Installation

German:

FIFA 08 deinstallieren (am besten mit einem Deinstallationsassistenten wie Smarty Uninstaller, Revo Uninstaller, etc.)
FIFA 08 Ordner in „Eigene Dateien“ löschen
FIFA 08 Installationsordner löschen, falls noch vorhanden
FIFA 08 neuinstallieren auf „Englisch“ wenn vorhanden
Alle 3 EA Patches installieren
FIFA 08 starten
Unter „Team-Management“ auf „Teams zurücksetzen“ gehen und dort „Online Teams“ wählen
FIFA 08 beenden
Alle „.asf-Dateien“ im Ordner „data\audio“ Ordner löschen (keine „.big-Dateien“)
Kompletten Inhalt aus dem Ordner „FIFA 08 Dateien“ kopieren und im Installationsverzeichnis von FIFA 08 einfügen
Alle Dateien ersetzen, wenn die Frage kommt, was mit vorhandenen Dateien passieren soll
FERTIG!

Uninstall FIFA 08 (best with uninstalling programs like Smarty Uninstaller, Revo Uninstaller, etc.)
Delete FIFA 08 folder located at "My Documents"
Delete FIFA 08 installation folder, if still existent
Install FIFA 08 in "English" language (if available)
Install all 3 EA patches
Start FIFA 08
Under "Team management" go to "Restore teams" and there select "Online teams"
Exit FIFA 08
Delete all files with .asf file extension at the location "data\audio" (please DON'T delete any files with the file extension .big)
Copy all content from the folder named "FIFA 08 Dateien" and paste it in the fifa main folder
Replace all files when there comes the question how to process with the available files.
FINISHED!

Anmerkungen:

Durch die Installation vom Mega Patch steigen die Systemanforderungen, es kann also sein, das Ihr die Grafikeinstellungen verändern müsst oder ggf. den Performance Patch (weiter unten im Thread) verwenden müsst
Nach Änderungen an den „zdatas“ mit dem FifaMania Regenerator 08 von FifaMania (Download: http://italia.soccergaming.com/modul...=getit&lid=761) oder mit dem FatMaster 08 von Rinaldo (FifaMaster) rebuilden (zufinden im Ordner „Tools“)
Online Gaming ist nicht mehr möglich nach Installation vom „Mega Patch“
Weitere Menü Designs findest du im Ordner „Menü Desings

Hinweise:

Nur „1G Grafiken“ nutzen, da es sonst zu Abstürzen kommt.
Es kann im laufenden Spiel ganz selten mal zu Grafikfehlern / Anzeigefehler kommen, das ist aber kein Fehler von FIFA 08, sondern ein Problem von Windows in Kombination mit FIFA 08, da eine Datei im RAM nicht gefunden wurde, auf Grund der großen Datenmenge. Das kann man auch nicht vermeiden, weil das Spiel einfach nicht für eine solch große Datenmenge konzepiert wurden ist.
Es kann auch manchmal vorkommen, dass FIFA 08 beim laden einer Begegnung abstürzt, dies liegt im Normallfall auch an der sehr großen Datenmasse. Wenn das Problem jedoch zum wiederholten Male bei der gleichen Begegnung im gleichen Stadion auftauchen sollte, dann bitte im „offiziellen Thema“ im „FIFA 4 LIFE Forum“ (FIFA 08 Mega Patch) dieses melden, mit Angaben zum „Stadion“, „Tageszeit“, „Heimteam“, „Auswärtsteam“ und ggf. Änderungen die man an FIFA 08 vorgenommen hat.

Remarks:

Due to the installation of the Mega Patch the system requirements increase. So it could be possible that you have to adjust the graphic settings or as the case may be use the performance patch (you find it beneath in this thread)
After changing something to the "zdata" files please rebuild with the FifaMania Regenerator 08 from FifaMania (Download: http://italia.soccergaming.com/modul...=getit&lid=761) or with the FatMaster08 program from Rinaldo (FifaMaster) (accessible at the "Tools" folder)
Unfortunately, Online Gaming is not possible anymore after the installation of the "Mega Patch"
Additional menu designs are located at the "Menü Designs" folder

Manifestations:

Please use only graphics that are in "1G format". Otherwise the game may crash.
It is rarely possible that graphic/display bugs could appear while playing. That's no bug of FIFA 08, it's a windows issue in combination with FIFA 08. (The reason is that a certain file in the RAM could not be found on grounds of the heavy amount of data) Unfortunately it's not avoidable, because the game wasn't planned for such a big data volume.
Sometimes it may happen that FIFA 08 crashes while loading a match. In this case it's also the same reason like above. If the problem appears again and again with the same team constellation and in the same stadium, please report this in the "official thread" at the FIFA 4 LIFE Forum (FIFA 08 Mega Patch). If you do so, please don't forget to name the "stadium", "time of day", "hometeam, "awayteam" and where necessary the changes you did on FIFA 08.

Der Patch ändert bestimmte Parametern an der Grafikkonfiguration, wodurch es weniger Ruckler geben soll.
Bitte beachtet, dass dieses kein Ausgleich für eine nicht ausreichende Computer-Hardware ist!

DVD-Version

Desweiteren wollte ich noch sagen, das ich auch anbiete, den Patch auf eine 8,5GB DVD zubrennen und es dann zuverschicken für 4 Euro um die entstehenden Rohling und Versandkosten abzudecken.
